Optimize the production machining methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety by creating CNC programs and applying cutting tool knowledge.

Maximize efficiency, minimize cost and produce required quality by continuous improvement of manufacturing process.

Prepare the manufacturing procedure for Machining such as development of cutting tools, Standard Operational Procedures, development of new equipment acquisitions, root cause analysis of quality issues and knowledge in the operation of Lathes, Grinders and Machining Centers.

Technical Tasks:

  1. Specify, justify, and develop manufacturing equipment for new or existing products to ensure that the designs can be manufactured safely, efficiently and in a repeatable manner,
  2. Develop and coordinate manufacturing/product cost reductions,
  3. Develop and maintain SOPs for manufacturing operations,
  4. Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for experimental, prototype, new and existing products,
  5. Procurement of production equipment operation material and fixtures,
  6. Design assembly fixtures,
  7. Process integration of procedures and products into production. This includes in particular the administration of master data, work plans including cycle time requirements, economic batch sizes, production plans, etc.
  8. Cause analysis and problem solving for problems during production, determine root cause, recommend and implement corrective action and coordinate long-term resolution
  9. Collaboration in creating, reviewing, changing and managing the process- and product - related documents for production.
  10. Equipment design, process and material flow planning, layout and operating resources planning, preparation of request for quotation documents for machines and operation material, logistics analysis and conceptions for facilities and operating equipment, benchmarking and monitoring of manufacturing processes
  11. It is a plus if the candidate can do CNC programming to model cutting paths and create CNC programs in accordance with blueprint specifications
  12. Set up CNC lathes and mills to machine components using programs developed with CAM
  13. Adjust machine cutting paths or settings on the factory floor to optimize production while maintaining quality including setting of cutting feeds and speeds for efficient machining based on materials.
  14. Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
  15. Use metrology tools (micrometers - calipers) to measure machined components to verify machined component compliance to print specifications
  16. Create, review, or change the process related documents for production including technical support for manufacturing departments.

Experience and Skills:


  1. University degree,
  2. More than 3 years working experiences of Machining
  3. AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience
  4. Experience with CNC turning and milling CAM software
  5. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  6. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures involving CNC machines
  7. Strong knowledge Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma is preferred
  8. Knowledge of GD&T symbols
